Over the last few years, many countries across Europe have begun shifting to the right – especially at the ballot box. From Germany's AFD to the Sweden Democrats to Greece's Golden Dawn, the far right – defined as anti-immigrant, anti-EU and anti-Islam – is gaining strength. Following the far right UKIP's success with Brexit, all eyes are now on France as it votes for its next president – and in the running are a party and candidate that have a long, unsavory history.
