The Metro Manila Film Festival's Parade of Stars 2022 is ongoing, featuring the eye-catching floats and stars of the eight participating movies. The MMFF officially opens on 25 December.

The Parade of Stars features floats carrying celebrities from the eight competing films of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) along E. Rodriguez in Quezon City on Wednesday.

The 2022 MMFF will officially open in theaters nationwide from December 25, 2022 until January 7, 2023. (Video by Anthony Suriaga Comedia)


The biggest, most popular and the widely supported and anticipated Metro Manila Film Festival, now on its 48th year is alive and upbeat as it promotes the message “BALIK SAYA” while foregrounding our kababayans enjoying the Filipino cinematic experience again during the Christmas Season.

The esteemed members of the Selection Committee headed by the multi-awarded and much respected leaders of the film industry Boots Anson-Roa Rodrigo and Jesse Ejercito as chair and vice chair respectively, chose the Top 4 scripts based on the following criteria: Artistic Excellence - 40%, Commercial Appeal - 40%, Filipino Cultural Sensibility - 10% and Global Appeal - 10%.

Director: Cathy Garcia-Molina

Director: Paul Soriano
Scriptwriter: Emma Villa
Starring: Joey De Leon and Toni Gonzaga
