Sarah Price Hancock is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a graduate of SDSU’s Rehabilitation Counseling MS program and a psychiatric recovery consultant. She currently works at the National Alliance on Mental Illness in San Diego as a Community Placement Coordinator and an In Our Own Voice presenter. Sarah recently joined the Rehabilitation Counseling faculty at San Diego State University. Having embarked on her own journey with schizoaffective disorder - bipolar type, Sarah is passionate about psychiatric recovery. She’s lectured more than 40 times at ten universities on a variety of recovery topics. Sarah Frequently lectures about a variety of Recovery topics for university Rehabilitation Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychiatry, Nurse Practitioner and Psychology Programs.
