In 1307, allegedly on Friday the 13th, the Knights Templar were crushed by order of King Philip of France and the Pope. For years, they were put on trial on charges of sodomy and heresy. One of the accusations was that the knights worshipped a demon called Baphomet. Some said it was specifically the head of this demon. But was there any truth to this?
