Join us on this short but always rewarding hiking trail in Jasper National Park that can be easily done all year round. Alot of popular trails may be dangerous or too difficult to be completed in the winter months but the Valley of the Five Lakes trail is definitely not one of them. The trail loop can be a done a few different ways but hovers around the 5km mark and should take more than 3 hours to complete. We walked the entire trail in the middle of winter to showcase how beautiful this area even with all the snow. The low elevation gain & outside of avalanche paths makes it also suitable to hike in this time of year. This video is one of many we have recorded during the winter months in Jasper National Park and this one may be the best winter hiking trail of the entire park.
