Alberta Ballet welcomes Royal Winnipeg Ballet in The Handmaid’s Tale

The 2022/23 season will open with special guests from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in a stunning adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s gripping novel, The Handmaid’s Tale.

Choreographer Lila York preserves the prophetic spirit and human story in her powerful and poignant interpretation. This dance drama transports audiences, with thrilling effect, on one woman’s journey through the dystopian social order of Atwood’s Gilead.
