As more Covid-19 cases are reported and hospitals continue to be overrun, many people are wondering if and when they should go to the hospital.
While many coronavirus cases experience mild symptoms that can be treated at home, some may experience more severe symptoms that require medical attention.
So, when should you seek out medical care?
If you notice chest pain or shortness of breath, like feeling winded or unable to talk.
Call your doctor first before you head to the ER for evaluation.
And speaking of calling, only call 911 if you need immediate help or in case of an emergency.
But if you do need to call 911, the CDC urges patients to inform dispatch personnel that you have or are being evaluated for Covid-19.
