Uh oh, hope Mischa Barton is getting the help she needs!

The former O.C. actress was reportedly taken to the hospital after police responded to a disturbance at her West Hollywood apartment.

Apparently authorities found Mischa “speaking incoherently” but she could voluntarily agree to be transmitted to the hospital via ambulance. This latest breakdown reportedly happened the morning after her 31st birthday celebration.

Unfortunately Mischa has a history of mental issues. She told People magazine about the 2009 “full-on breakdown” that she experienced, where she described it as “straight out of Girl, Interrupted.”

USA Today reports that Mischa admitted to People magazine that her whirlwind lifestyle contributed to her downward spiral and temporary psychiatric hold in 2009.

Here’s hoping she recovers soon.
