The 2021 Golden Globe Winners have finally been revealed and as usual the results we're just as shocking, exciting and as confusing as always. Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler the 2021 Golden Globes are voted for by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and give us an indication who will be victorious at the Oscars
Some of the biggest Golden Globe surprises and takeaways:
- Maria Bakalova snubbed and Rosamund Pyke Wins Best Actress in a comedy for I Care A Lot.
-Jodie Foster wins Best Supporting Actress over Glenn Close and Olivia Colman
-Andra Day Wins bes Actress ver frontrunners Carey Mulligan, Frances McDormand and Viola Davis
- Soul Takes home Best Score and Animated Feature
- One Night in Miami and Promising Young Woman win no Golden Globes
- Leslie Odom jr wins neither of his 2 golden globe nominations
- Sacha Baron Cohen wins his second Golden Globe for Playing Borat
- The Crown wins big in the TV categories - winning Best Actress (Emma Corrin), Best Actor (Josh O'Connor), Best Supporting Actress (Gillian Anderson) and Best Drama Series.
- Nomadland continues it's victory with Best Picture and Best Director for Chloe Zhao.
