Quick video of my XTC classic doing some metal.
The memory card got filled up so the video cut off early... sorry about that. I'll have a longer video with the other channels and different settings and what not later next week.
I used the Tokai LS150 with the sheptones into a JHS klon clone to boost the amp then from the amp into a splawn 4x12 with a pair of K100's and a pair of earcandy green machines.
Not shown was the amp also being on the "new" setting on the back.
Also, just so everyone understands and it probably goes without saying, no the amp really wasn't made to do this. That's the Uberschall's priority but it's nice that with the help of a boost, the amp can get into uber territory and still stay clean and defined. Even at the end with the mids at 10 o'clock, the sound is still nice and full with lots of that chewy fat bogner lower midrange.
I think with a drier cab like a Mesa or Diezel 4x12 it would probably sound meaner but I didn't get the amp to do this kind of stuff. That's the Nitro's business.
Enjoy!
