JALAPEÑO POPPER CHICKEN 🔥 This is an easy, low carb dinner and only uses 5 ingredients!
Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts cut in half
8 oz softened cream cheese
1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar
4 pieces of bacon cooked and crumbled
4 diced fresh jalapeños
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F. Slice your chicken breasts in half so they are about 1/2 inch thick and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Spread softened cream cheese on top of chicken. The softer it is the easier to spread! Warning, this can be a little difficult and you may need to use your fingers a bit. Some seasoning may transfer from the chicken to cream cheese but that's ok! Top cream cheese with garlic powder (I used @flavorgod garlic lovers seasoning.)
Then add shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon and jalapeños. Cover dish with tin foil and bake for 25 min. Remove foil and bake for another 10 min until cheese is melted and begins to bubble on the edges. Enjoy!
