Join us for an early morning walk down Edinburgh's Princes Street!
Princes Street is the main artery of the New Town and is one of the key shopping and dining streets in Scotland's capital city. The stunning gardens run along the South side of the street as well as key points of interest such as the Ross Fountain, National Gallery, Scott Monument, Waverley Station and the Balmoral Hotel.
The North side of the street has a huge array of retail stores, hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars and the Register House where Births, Deaths and marriage records are kept.
Our walk begins at the West End of Princes Street, keep an eye out for the 1962 clock on the Johnnie Walker Visitor Centre which plays Scotland the Brave as mini pipers circle the base twice every hour.
The street was built around 1770 and was originally named St. Giles Street after the patron saint of the city.
