Ingredients:
Bottlegourd - 1/2 of the medium sized one
Pigeon pea lentils (toorl dal) - 1/2 cup
To grind
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Green chillies - 2 nos. (adjust to taste)
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Water as needed
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Jaggery - 1 tsp (optional)
To temper
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
White lentils - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Asafoetida (hing) - 1/4 tsp
