I wrote a long and detailed review of this pickup, but Youtube crashed out on me. In a nutshell, this GFS pickup didn't live up to the hype - good, but not great.
I really struggled to get the bass NOT to mush out when recording this clip. At the same time, it was difficult to stop the top end from sounding thin and weedy. The midrange isn't too bad, but its quite a boxy sounding pickup overall.
If you play clean all the time or indie-jangle, you'd probably be fine with this pickup, but in all honesty I'd just put the extra towards getting a good pickup in the first place.
