This is a great technique for clients with lateral hip pain, greater trochanteric bursitis, gluteus medius tendonosis, and greater trochanteric pain syndrome. With this graded exposure stretching technique, you can massage the pain away in clients experiencing lateral hip pain and those experiencing IT-band pressure.
