This is how to see chunks and chunk borders around you in Minecraft Java Edition. (2024)
A simple way to see your chunk borders in Minecraft involves a key shortcut. This can be done by holding the F3 key and pressing G. This will bring up the chunk borders around you shown as walls. Each time you enter a new chunk, new walls will appear around you and the walls of the chunk you left will disappear. This way, you concisely know where every chunk starts and ends.
To refresh your chunks, hold the F3 key and press A. This fixes common lag issues and fixes a known issue where chunks don't load.
