It is indescribable how this Audi pushes forward with launch control. The Audi e-tron GT quattro radiates progress in a contemporary way. It exudes sportiness, quality and comfort at the same time. During a drag race event - RACE 1000 - we test the times on the half mile:
0-100 km/h / 0-62 mph in 4,57s
0-200 km/h / 0-124 mph in 15,76s
100-200 km/h / 62-124mph in 11,19s
1/4 mile 12,57s 179,48 km/h
1/2 mile 19,73 - 219,73 km/h
The Audi e-tron GT is driven by two electronically controlled permanent magnet synchronous machines, one on the front and one on the rear axle. This gives it all-wheel drive. There is a 405 liter trunk at the rear and 85 liters of storage space under the front hood.
The more powerful RS variant should be available from the start of sales in May 2021. It differs from the base, among other things, in a roof made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, a three-chamber air suspension and a brake system with a layer of tungsten carbide on the gray cast iron brake discs. Brake discs made of silicon carbide ceramic are also available for both versions at an additional cost.
