Fani is being cared for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF). She lives on a man-mad island at the Samboja Lestari orangutan sanctuary.
There are many orangutans like Fani who cannot be released back into the wild.... They will need permanent sanctuary care for the rest of their lives.
