In 2014, the singer, actress, and businesswoman Rihanna announced that she had a new album coming out soon. In 2015, the singer released a trio of singles, "FourFiveSeconds," "B**** Better Have My Money (BBHMM)," and "American Oxygen," in which none of them made it on to Rihanna's 8th studio album. Throughout the rest of 2015, the rollout for Rihanna's elusive album officially titled 'Anti' had a series of delays and cryptic interactive virtual promotional videos (anti diary), that had fans wondering when R8 would finally be released. Although ANTI was initially leaked, it was officially released on January 28th 2016. With the hit singles such as "Work," "Love on the Brain," "Kiss it Better," and "Needed Me", Anti went on to become the longest charting album by a black female artist on the Billboard 200.
