This video details replacement of the primary catalytic converter on a 2008 Porsche Cayenne S. I apologize for the poor audio quality at some points; not sure what was going on with my microphone, but the video gets the job done in terms of providing the essential information for those who are considering doing this themselves. The right side flexpipe is a known weak spot for exhaust leaks on these cars so this is going to be a common fix as these cars age. There weren't any CELs or trouble codes associated with the exhaust leak. The only symptom was a faint 'airy' sound from the side of the car. The car ran fine with the exhaust leak because the engine's computer was adjusting for it, but in the long term it's not good for the engine and so needs to be fixed. As always, one takes on this procedure at their own risk.
