Bottom-of-the-league Vegalta Sendai pulled off a shock 4-0 win away to 2nd-placed Gamba Osaka. Sendai, who had not won in the league since 8th August, broke Gamba's 11 game unbeaten run, thanks to a hat-trick from forward Shun Nagasawa and an 89th minute strike from defender Takahiro Yanagi.
