About This Game

The NES port of the original Contra arcade game. This true classic continues to stand the test of time with its fast 2-player action, perfect 8-way aiming controls, and creative challenges. In addition, the NES port contains new weapons and updated stage and enemy designs not found in the arcade version. (Note: The Japanese version also goes by the alternate name of Gryzor, while the European version is called Probotector.)
