The Lincoln Clay Documentary tells the story of Lincoln Clay and is shown throughout the entirety of Mafia III.
The story of Mafia III is told through a documentary produced in 2016. It opens with archive footage from the New Bordeaux Department of Commerce featuring Lou Marcano. The documentary includes interviews with key figures in Lincoln Clay's life, as well as the FBI investigation and archive footage of a 1971 U.S. Senate hearing into the case.
The documentary includes previously classified archive footage from a Senate Hearing that took place August 25, 1971, where John Donovan testified about the actions that Lincoln Clay and himself took against the Marcano Crime Family in 1968. The hearing was chaired by Senator Blake of Louisiana.
The documentary also features interviews conducted in 2016 with Father James Ballard, close friend and mentor to Lincoln Clay, as well as Jonathan Maguire, a retired agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation who investigated the crimes of Lincoln Clay. It also includes an excerpt from Nicki Burke, the only surviving member of the Burke family and friend of Lincoln Clay.
