Finally managed to get out on the River Tay for the first time on October. We did the Aberfeldy to Grandtully section and after chatting about whether or not to do the Grandtully rapid and working out a plan half of us went for it.

Lets say it did not go as planned falling in after the first drop really put threw a spanner in the mix. Although I came out physically unharmed, I definitely bit off more than I could chew which you will see in the final clip of the video sailing over the boat breaker. Needless to say I don't see myself tackling that rapid again anytime soon.

That said the rest of the section was fab and it was great to experience a new river nearer to my new home.
