How to connect an iPad 10th Gen to a HDMI TV or monitor

In this video I'm showing you the easiest way to connect your 2022 iPad 10th Generation to an external HDMI monitor or TV. And this is to use a simple USB C to HDMI cable adapter.

Once your iPad is connected to your HDMI TV or monitor with this cable, the iPad will automatically send the video signal to the attached TV or monitor.

You will notice black bars at the side of the picture, this is called pillar boxing and is normal. This is because the iPad just sends a mirrored image to the TV or monitor which is the same aspect ratio as the iPad's screen.

BTW the Dell monitor used in this video is a 1080P 27" gaming monitor with 165HZ refresh rate. This is perfect for the iPad 10th Gen as the iPad is only 1080P on its output anyway and although the iPad is 60Hz, or 60FPS for its output, this Dell gaming monitor has fast screen refresh and low internal latency.
