Portrait photographer Devin Allen’s story is as interesting as it is inspiring. While his Time magazine cover photo (“Baltimore Rising”) in 2015 is what launched him into the national spotlight, Devin's passionate work in both the community and photography world since then continues to cement his legacy as voice of inspiration. In this artist conversation presented by Leica, we talk with Devin about his journey—from documenting the Baltimore protests to becoming the first recipient of the Gordon Parks Foundation Fellowship, and his various celebrated works along the way.
