(9 Sep 2015) Hundreds of Ukraine servicemen on Wednesday paid tribute to the three National Guard officers killed in an explosion in Kiev on 31 August.
National Guard troops, army soldiers, police officers and civilians took part in the ceremony outside parliament, held in exactly the same location where the blast took place.
The three officers died from injuries suffered in a grenade explosion during clashes between police and nationalists who were protesting a constitutional amendment granting more powers to Ukrainian regions, including the rebel-held east.
More than 140 people were injured in the blast.
