Happy #TherapyTipTuesday! Today’s tip is great for children that are toe walkers to help them work towards trunk rotation.
Be sure to share this tip if you feel it can benefit others! Consult with your local therapist to determine if this tip is safe and appropriate for your child.

To perform this tip place a towel or any fabric material on the floor. Ask the child to stand on it and move it across the floor without stepping off the towel or fabric. The most effective way to do so is with heels down to drag the fabric, so the child will be encouraged to place their feet flat on the ground. They can also perform the activity with only one foot if they struggle to balance with both feet involved. Be sure to stand next to them to prevent falls.
