On March 8 - 2012 I drove to Bremen to test the prototype of a complete new THEIN contrabass trombone. Although I am very happy with my recent "Ben van Dijk" model I had the idea there could be made some changes to make the instrument play even easier.
Max Thein and his team took this up seriously and created a complete new model. A long intense day of testing made me very happy.
The new "UNIVERSAL THEIN Contrabass Trombone" is just amazing.
