Bikepacking the Downs Link to South Downs Way overnight loop, inspired by Bikepacking.com.
First day, involved taking the train from London Waterloo to Guildford. The route took me out of Guildford and onto the Downs Link, a flat bridleway linking the North Downs Way with the South Downs Way at Shoreham on Sea.
As left Shoreham I decided to modify the route to take me further along the coastline and reduce the climbing. Not enough sleep and i just wanted an easier finish.
I camped at Littleton Farm Campsite. A very basic campsite with clean portaloos, and drinking water. I'm guessing it was a bit livelier than normal becuase I choose to ride the weekend of Goodwood Festival of Speed... not awesome for the road traffic in the area.
Over the two days i took very little video content and my mind was elsewhere and I was frankly not fully in it. Next overnighter being planned. Need to get into the swing of this.
