This is my unboxing and first impressions of the Classic Greek Hoplite Sword by Windlass Steelcrafts that I purchased from Medieval Collectibles here:

Price at time of purchase and this first impressions: $225.00
I am still unaware where and whom sharpened it (I'm guessing Medieval Collectibles sharpened it as Windlass is known for making unsharpened products), but I must say they did the edge bevel much like a knife. Along with the brass coated nodules on the sheath, that's a bit of a letdown. If you can get past that, I do believe this is a sword worth buying.
