Another opportunity for the sprinters awaits on day three, although with a total distance of 211.4km and a tough climb falling in the final 25km it’s a significantly harder test than the one on day one. That said, we should see the majority of sprinters make it to Faro to contest the finish. The run into the final kilometer is, again, straightforward; but at 500m to go things get difficult. After slingshotting their way around a wide roundabout, the riders will be met with a 4% kicker that rises all the way to the line!
