Buakaw Banchamek is a Thai Muay Thai and K1 fighter and, similar to fighters like Saenchai, a certifiable legend of the sport.
He’s a former two time Omnoi Stadium champ, Toyota Marathon champ, Lumpinee Stadium #1, Thai featherweight champion, two time K1 work Max champ, WBC Diamond Belt champ and 2011 and 2012 Thai Fight champion.
Throughout a career that’s spanned 275 kickboxing fights he’s taken on huge names like John Wayne Parr, Andy Souwer, Nieky Holzken, Jordan Watson, Youssef Boughanem and others - often with multiple rematches. It’s testament to his skill that he’s only got 24 losses and 12 draws on his record - he’s won 239 of his 275 fights.
Known for an aggressive, high action style in the ring he brings the same intensity to his training - this padwork highlight shows the hard work that goes into being one of the best to ever do it. We couldn’t resist making this highlight extra long and really recommend watching the final clip to see just how hard it can be to be Buakaw’s pad man!
