I never would have thought a GT500 vs any supercar would make an interesting drag race but the 2020 GT500 is like no GT500 before. And the McLaren 765 LT is like no McLaren before, setting the record for the quickest production car ever.

Of course in years past we have made most Mustangs go very fast in the 1/4 mile. But it wasn't until Ford gave us the 2020 Shelby GT500 with the 7 speed DCT that we can even consider comparing a modified GT500 to any supercar, let alone the world's fastest production car.
