I just got around to editing this video...
For those of you who remember Clementine, she ended up in a not so great situation. Clementine was my first ever TIP mustang (see her videos linked down below). I adopted her out to what was initially a great home... however things changed and the owner never reached out for help. Despite me constantly asking for updates and checking in to make sure all was well, things were not well. Clementine was adopted from me in February 2018. In May 2019, between 20-30 mustangs had been found starved at this woman's property. Although Clem was a SA mustang (she no longer had a BLM contract = no protection) I was able to get her and find her a new home where she's now doing fantastic and looks like her old self again! I'm so sad that this happened to one of my mustangs, but relieved I was able to keep in contact enough to know where she was, and help her get out of there and into an awesome new home. The day I picked her up, I didn't even recognize her and was almost convinced it wasn't the same horse and they brought me the wrong one... but now seeing the pictures of her back in her healthy state, that's definitely her! Thank you so much Emily for giving Clem the home she deserves! If any of you ever get into a sticky situation with your mustangs, horses, or any animal for that matter, don't be afraid to reach out for help before it escalates to something like this.
