Genetics influences our lives in many subtle and not so subtle ways, from what we look like, to the medical disorders that afflict us, even to how we behave. Geneticists have developed a large collection of tools to explore this complex genetic world. In this five part series, we explore the latest genetic tests and technologies, and consider how they increasingly impact how we live today.
In the first of these five presentations, we explore how molecular tests can be developed for genetic diseases.
This series was initially developed for the first-year course in cell biology at Massey University in New Zealand. The presenter, Murray Cox, is Professor of Computational Biology at Massey University ([ Ссылка ]) and leads the Computational Biology Research Group ([ Ссылка ]).
