We travel by train to the historical port city of Fremantle, Western Australia. Fremantle is rich in Victorian architecture, maritime history and reminders of Australia’s days as a British penal colony. The round house dates back to 1831 and the Fremantle Prison to the 1850s. A walk through the streets of Fremantle surrounds you some beautiful Victorian style buildings.. They certainly don’t build them like this anymore. We take a look at some of the unique architecture that makes Fremantle different from most other West Australian cities.
