Going up against a flurry of other hot hatches – including the Volkswagen Golf GTD – the Focus ST diesel is a slightly tamer version of Ford’s flagship hot hatch, the Ford Focus RS.
Purists will argue that hot hatches should be petrol-powered though. So, can diesel hot hatches offer the same level of enthrallment?
