apb performing the post punk classic 'Shoot you down' in 1986. Location - the wonderful old Ritz in Manhattan, NYC. Shoot you down is featured on the apb album 'Something to believe in' which has been re-released by visionary label Young American.
The original 'Something to believe in' album was selling for $200 to $300 prior to the re-release. Thank you Young American.
The band were championed by John Peel of BBC Radio 1 in the 80s. In 2007 they returned to NYC where they had received heavy airplay on groundbreaking station WLIR back in the mid 80s. They opened for James Brown in Brooklyn, NYC in 1983. In the same year they opened for the Clash in Inverness, Scotland.
Also in 2007 the band released a new rare album titled 'three'.
The aim of the album was to capture the vibe and energy of apb of the 80s.
