Longtime CBS 6 anchor and reporter, Cheryl Miller, celebrated 40 years at the station. They celebrated her during the noon and 4pm newscasts yesterday.
Cheryl Miller joined WTVR in September of 1984 after then owner, Park Broadcasting, convinced her to move to Virginia and anchor the noon news. She also later anchored a news show called "Richmond After Six" in the 1990s.
Cheryl has anchored the noon news ever since and it has become the top-rated midday newscast. She was also inducted into the Silver Circle Honor Society in 2023.
