If you want to prevent root rot in your jade plants, follow these tips before you water them.
🪴Always lift the pot and make sure it feels very light unless you have a huge jadeplant
🪴Press on the leaves make sure they feel soft and thin, not plump as they stored water in them
🪴 look at the gap between the soil, and the edge of the pot and soil dries out it shrinks
🪴 Check the soil at the drainage holes. It should feel very dry and it should not stick to your hands.
🪴 Make sure to let the soil dry out completely and avoid overwatering
