Smoothly its orange bark peels as it ages to reveal a multicolor streaks of blue, purple, green a maroon. Covered in a a foliage of pale green and ovate fragrant leaves! Which are known to contain a soothing aromatic oil, that is expelled as the leaves are crushed. It has moderate to high salt tolerance. Although in landscaping the tree obviously needs large open areas in parks or home gardens, it is quite popular amongst garden enthusiasts as the tree can provide light shade and very showy bark.
