Engineers working in the UAE and across the GCC want to get a salary raise, and are willing to change jobs if the right pay comes along.

These are the findings of Construction Week's 2018 Salary Survey, which revealed that 57% of the engineer respondents would want to change jobs in the next 12 months.
Air tickets home are among the most common employee benefits listed by the GCC's engineers, who also said they feel they are underpaid. Some even said their salaries were delayed in the last 12 months, and the majority of this lot said market-wide payment delays were the cause of this trend.
