On November 21st, 2018, the leading Austrian aerospace group FACC has entered into a strategic partnership with the Chinese technology company EHang, which specializes in autonomous air mobility.
EHang is one of the world's most promising autonomous air mobility companies and was named one of the "Most Innovative Companies of the World" by Fast Company magazine in 2016.
In a joint effort, the autonomous air vehicles (AAV) are to be optimized and made ready for series production by 2020. In addition, solutions for the individual air mobility of the future will be jointly developed, and research will be conducted on new technologies for AAV.
The two company, cooperated with a third partner, ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4, aiming to improve promotion of mobility of the future, attended the 2019 4GAMECHANGERS Festival in Vienna, Austria, from April 9th to April 11th.
With the theme of “Europe Meets Asia”, this year, the event will focus on solutions of mobility in the near future. As a pioneer of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) field.
