Viking history is one of the richest histories known to man. The Vikings are known to have been some of history's toughest and deadliest warriors. They left their homelands in Scandinavia and traveled all over Europe from about 700 to 1100 AD. This means that there are Viking burial sites in places you wouldn't even expect.
