If you do [2]8KK 236M instead, you can get double dash perfect meaty 5MP., but DR 2LK is still better at punishing walk back and threatening throw

the [2]8KK setup was a lot easier to do pre-patch, but now you have to be a little more precise or you might accidentally whiff cancel your 2LK into a drive rush, which will burn 3 drive gauges and mess up your timing

before the change, I liked doing 66 first then 2LK because I thought the timing was easier and it makes your opponent think you accidentally pressed 2LK. It might still be better, but after 2LK you need to plink and hold DR while still holding down to avoid getting the DR macro
