On November 1, 2018, NASA announced that Dawn had run out of fuel. It is no longer able to point its radio antenna to Earth, so the mission has ended. The Planetary Society congratulates NASA, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and the international Dawn science mission team on an extraordinarily successful 11 years of exploration. We look forward to many years more of great science from Dawn's precious data. Thank you for making these remote parts of our cosmos more known.
