It was an unplanned trip after a tiresome workday. I usually keep my folding bike in the car's trunk. Instead, I was in a nearby McDonald's working on a pet project. Finished it and decided to get on a bike for another 15 mins before heading home. I used to drive by car in this part of the city and only once had a short bike trip. Decided to take another turn and found myself in a very nice and small town, Spaarndam, with its own exit to water (a small river coming up from the North sea).
