Services in public health facilities continue to be disrupted for the third day following the strike by nurses and clinical officers strike entering day 3.
A spot check by Citizen TV has revealed that private and community based healthcare facilities are shouldering the burden of providing treatment of patients going to public healthcare facilities. The strike is set to continue with a deal yet to be brokered between the clinical officers' and nurses' unions and multi-agency committee on health issues.
