Easter brings to mind a vivid image of Easter bunnies and a basketful of treats like Easter eggs and lots of candy. Pottery Barn Kids has this great tutorial on how to make decorative Easter eggs for a fun-filled egg hunt for your kids.
Kelli Ronci shares her simple and creative ideas on how to get your kids involved in creating decorative Easter eggs using materials that are easily available. First, get some hard-boiled eggs and decorate them with numbered or flower or star-shaped stickers. You can also personalize these eggs by writing names on it with a white wax crayon. With the help of an egg dipper, immerse the eggs three times in a diluted dye solution. Now wipe them with a paper towel and peel-off the stickers to reveal the eggs colored in beautiful pastel shades with cute numbers or pretty flower or star shapes on it that have remained untouched by the dye.
You can involve your kids in creating these cute decorative Easter eggs that they will also love to find on the day of your Easter party.
